Crestwood Global Experience Grant

A scholarship for Crestwood High School seniors to travel internationally — gaining global perspective and bringing that insight back to their community.

Why This Exists

Founder Andy Auble, a Crestwood alum, had his worldview transformed by international travel after graduation.

This grant was created to offer that same opportunity — at no cost — to another graduating senior each year.

What's Included

Open to: Crestwood High School Seniors (Class of 2026)

Fully funded: 2–4 week international trip taking place between June and August

Covered: Tuition, travel, lodging, several meals, and activities

Organized by: Pacific Discovery Programs (trip logistics + planning)

Funded by:
GlueTread – an American-made brand in the Class4Labs family, based in Hiram, Ohio.

Facilitated by:
Class4Labs – a product incubator founded by Andy Auble with offices in Hiram, OH & Bozeman, MT.

Trip Partner:
Pacific Discovery Programs – experienced travel program provider for students.

Feb 3 – Winner Passport Check
May 10 – Travel Paperwork Due
July 5 – Trip Begins*
Aug 2 – Graduate Returns*
Aug 9 – Graduate Report Due

*Actual departure and return dates vary based on the trip chosen by each student. Generally speaking, trips are 2-4 weeks long including travel time to the destination.

Selection Process

Fair. Transparent. Impact-Driven.

  • Finalists interviewed by Andy Auble
    (recorded & reviewed by panelists)

  • 6 panelists from across the U.S.
    (no local or family ties)

  • Judges split evenly between college grads and non-grads

  • Selection based on desire, impact potential, and representation of community

Judging Criteria:

  • Enthusiasm for travel

  • Impact of experience on applicant

  • Community engagement potential

  • Ability to represent Crestwood positively
